Brittney Cavaco

I am a licensed and board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialized in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders. I earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, a Post Graduate Certificate from Herzing University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National University.

Prior to my career as a nurse practitioner, I was in the mental health nursing field for over 16 years, mostly working with Veterans and their families. During that time I gained clinical expertise in areas such as acute inpatient mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder/traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment. My personal and professional commitment stem from deep empathy and compassion for those facing mental health challenges. I believe in meeting people wherever they are in terms of their recovery and goals, fostering genuine connection without judgement, and creating a personalized, patient-centered treatment plan designed to empower individuals in their journey and enhance their overall well-being.
