I’m inspired to work in mental health care because I believe that anyone who is struggling can find hope for a brighter future with the right support. Everyone deserves compassion, care, and understanding as they navigate life’s challenges. I’ve seen firsthand how obstacles can be overcome when people have the help they need. My goal is to impact my community by providing mental health services that offer not just professional guidance but also the empathy and encouragement necessary to overcome mental health challenges together.

To ensure that clients feel heard and understood in sessions, I focus on promoting both their mental and physical well-being, as well as supporting their overall health and recovery. I make it a priority to tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, using a variety of methods to ensure the best possible outcomes. This might include techniques like sand tray, art, or music, as well as resources like CBT-based books. For clients who prefer a more holistic approach, I integrate mindfulness and exercise to support natural healing. By offering a range of tools and approaches, I aim to create a safe, empathetic space where clients feel truly heard and supported in their journey.

I build trust and a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients by drawing on my diverse experiences and deep commitment to serving others. Having worked with people from various backgrounds and facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain, I understand the importance of empathy and understanding in building a strong connection. My previous career as a U.S. Navy Police officer taught me resilience, strength, and the value of service—qualities I bring into my therapeutic work. Additionally, my time working with individuals in my California community has further shaped my approach, allowing me to connect with clients in a meaningful way and create an environment where they feel supported, valued, and heard.
