I provide psychotherapy to teens, emerging adults, and families. I offer a nurturing and warm environment where you will feel heard and safe. It is my belief that the therapeutic process works best when the therapist meets the client “where they are” and allows space for a working alliance to develop organically instead of coming to the session with their own agenda.
Once understanding and trust have been established, we will delve into deeper therapeutic work to address where you feel stuck or unsatisfied. Through this collaborative effort I can help you to identify your core values and guide you to recognize unhelpful patterns of behavior that can get in the way of these values. I will also help you apply behavioral interventions which aim to reduce symptoms and provide you with coping tools that will serve you well after treatment has ended.
I have experience treating a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds who come to treatment with trauma, grief, self-harming behaviors, low self-esteem, gender dysphoria, depression and anxiety as well as parenting, relationship, school-stress and family issues. I have worked extensively with teens and young adults who seek help during a critical and transitional point in their life by empowering them to define their own identities and understanding of self.
