Hello, I'm Laura Beth. Are you trying to make improvements in your life and hitting roadblocks? Feeling depressed, stuck, anxious, or confused about yourself or your goals? Therapy may be a good option for you. Throughout my years as a therapist, I have worked with clients who simply need to talk through difficult life events and clients who have significant and debilitating mental illnesses. I work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, life transition problems, LGBTQIA+ issues, womenâs issues, trauma, and ADHD.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in sessions. I have also completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I focus on helping clients identify how their thought patterns and mindset influence their emotions and behaviors. It is important to me that my clients feel supported during therapy and build upon their strengths to make the positive changes they desire.
In recent years, I have begun integrating a holistic approach to my counseling practice. I received a certification in holistic nutrition in order to provide my clients with increased knowledge of how their daily nutrition impacts their mental health as well as overall wellness.
