At the Lotus Center for Wellness and Healing, the focus is on you… the human, the individual, the person sharing space with me. Historically, Black folks and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and gender expansive (LGBTQIA+) community have experienced oppression and marginalization that can make one feel isolated, misunderstood, and without choice. Racial and identity-based trauma can have lasting effects on a person without them knowing the significant impact.

Within our shared space, we can collaborate to create a narrative that you choose to tell. I work from a person-centered approach and use experiential therapeutic modalities, including psychodrama and EMDR. I specialize in issues of trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I am passionate about working with the BIPOC community and LGBTQIA+ folks.

Making it to this page speaks to your resilience and willingness to heal and grow, so that you can maintain and live a more balanced and integrated life. The period at the end of a sentence creates a sense of finality. However, adding two more periods to the end creates an ellipsis, meaning your story continues...
