Do you feel like the person everyone counts on--the friend who always has advice, the one who never misses a deadline, the kid your family calls when something goes wrong--while inside you're running on fumes? Between classes, jobs, relationships, and the pressure to have your whole future figured out, it's easy to end up exhausted and still saying yes to one more thing. I work with college students on anxiety, boundaries, and the transitions that come with this stage of life--moving away from home for the first time, figuring out who you are outside your family's expectations, navigating friendships and relationships that are more complicated than anyone warned you about. I also love career and major counseling: helping you sort through the "what am I even doing with my life" spiral with some actual structure instead of just more overwhelm. Sessions are collaborative. We'll start by talking through what's actually going on for you--not just the symptoms, but the patterns underneath them--and build a plan from there using tools that fit your life, not a one-size-fits-all script. I bring warmth, a sense of humor, and real engagement to our work together; you won't get a therapist who just nods and takes notes. I keep a limited number of sliding scale spots open for students who need them. Sessions are normally $230 ($330 for the intake), with reduced rates depending on your circumstances. You pick the tier that fits; no explanation or paperwork required. Cost shouldn't be the reason you don't get support. Sessions are virtual, so you can meet from your dorm, apartment, or wherever you're staying in Oregon. I'm a licensed psychologist (Psy.D.) with over a decade of experience, and I'd love to help you find a little more balance in the middle of all of this. Schedule your free consultation to see if we're a fit.

My clients' lives are often so filled and busy that it feels wrong or they feel guilt at the idea of rest and slowing down. They are folks who struggle with boundary setting and are often "the helper" in their relationships. My clients have internalized messages that often conflicts with their own ideals about their worthiness, their work ethic, and their ideas of what they deserve in life, they battle internal conflicts of how they want and are able to live their lives.

I work with folks struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, life transitions, and the countless other stressors life throws at us. My hope is to create a space where you can show up fully human—to laugh, cry, and talk about the hard stuff without fear of judgment. I invite you to bring yourself and all of the parts that come along with you. This is a privilege I do not take lightly and will honor as we walk through this journey together. If this resonates, I’d love to connect and see if working together feels right. My work is informed by systems-thinking and anti-oppressive frameworks, drawing from Narrative, Emotion-Focused, and Internal Family Systems approaches. I’m especially interested in how our relationships and identities shape who we are and who we’re becoming. I know finding a therapist can feel like a big step, and I believe connection really matters. I’m a relational therapist who values building a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive relationship. I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you reflect, explore, and grow.

I see therapy as a place for people to be deeply understood and gently challenged to take action on what they value most. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support what is already working for you, including your innate resilience and knowledge, while also targeting areas of struggle. I recognize that healing and change happen in the context of genuine, consistent, and intentional relationships, and strive to bring these things into therapy along with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also deeply value feminist, queer, and liberation psychologies and draw upon these wisdoms to explore the struggle of being human from a social justice lens. Relatedly, my understanding of systems of oppression, and therefore my orientation to therapeutic practice, are informed by my identities as a White, Jewish, pansexual cisgender woman.

I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and culture, identity, and lived experiences matter. Whether you are working through generational trauma, burnout, boundaries, self-worth, or simply trying to figure out how to make life feel lighter, you do not have to do it alone.

Welcome! I specialize in parts work, EMDR, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I can help you heal your nervous system, expand your emotional capacity, and relate more effectively. I work with adults who feel stuck in thoughts, emotions, or relationship patterns that just aren’t working. I also work with those struggling with a sudden stressor or those who want to work through past events. This can include things like trauma, depression, a challenging transition or the loss of a loved one, or low self-esteem and persistent self-criticism or doubt. My collaborative approach integrates evidence-based therapy methods with compassion, humor, and attuned listening. I am directive as needed, provide structure, and welcome long silences, fast-paced intensity, and everything in between. Together, we will explore past experiences, patterns, and what is happening in the here and now to foster clarity, cultivate change, and increase satisfaction in your life and relationships. We will also practice concrete skills such as assertive communication, boundary setting, and emotion regulation. I find that most people who come to see me are ultimately longing for a sense of inner peace, personal agency, and meaningful connections. Change is possible. Let’s work towards it together. I offer a free 15-20 minute initial consultation call to go over questions and see if we might be a good fit.
