I am committed to provide LGBTQ+ and BIPOC centered care. One on one psychotherapy based on clients’ strengths and growth points at a collaborated pace. I support clients who need support navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationships/dating, identity-related challenges, imposter syndrome work/life balance and neurodiversity. My clinical training focused on providing trauma-informed culturally conscious therapy to clients who come from many walks of life and intersecting identities, while utilizing kindness, metaphors and a bit of humor in my therapy sessions. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2016, and am professionally licensed in Massachusetts. I use different counseling modalities based on what clients presented needs such as evidence-based approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person Centered, Multicultural, and Strength-Based Therapy. You may be in a time full of worry and uncertainty, it's okay to want the support of deep connections with others. Therapy can be a place to heal, to learn, to grow, to transform, and to feel seen. I offer a free, 15 minute consultation to discuss what you'd like to gain from therapy and to tell you more about what I can offer in your therapy journey.

In my practice, I work with a diverse range of clients, each bringing unique stories, strengths, and challenges. Trauma can surface in many forms such as anxiety, self-doubt, or difficulty feeling safe in relationships or within oneself. My work focuses on creating a space rooted in safety, empowerment, and emotional insight, where you can begin to reconnect with yourself. My holistic, trauma-informed, and individualized approach draws from modalities including DBT, IFS, and CBT. Together, we will reframe unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotion regulation, and cultivate healthier coping skills. Through a strength-based and solution-focused lens, I help clients nurture the parts of themselves that need healing, foster self-compassion, and build a more positive sense of self and overall well-being. No matter where you are on your journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I bring warmth, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping you build resilience, deepen self-connection, and move toward thriving.

Whether facing in-the-moment or long term concerns, therapy provides a unique and professional third-party perspective. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and I am a proud queer therapist with a deep commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ clients through both internal struggles and the very real weight of societal pressures. I have worked across a range of settings, including health promotion, Mass General Brigham, and group practice. I draw from an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Feminist Therapy—tailoring my approach to what fits you. I hold a Master's in Psychology from Boston College, where I have returned as an adjunct professor of the practice. I bring that same teaching orientation into my work with clients—helping you understand the skills, frameworks, and coping strategies behind what we explore together. My priority is to help you find relief as soon as possible, and to understand the deeper roots of what brought you here in order to sustain feeling better. I view sessions less as a clinical appointment, and more like an honest conversation with someone genuinely in your corner. I'd love to connect—feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation together!

If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately, you’re not alone. Maybe you’re the one who always holds it together for everyone else, but inside, you're running on empty. Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing yourself or struggling to say no, even when you're burned out. Or maybe you're in the middle of a big life change and everything feels uncertain or heavier than you expected. You may be wanting to better understand yourself, set boundaries, and start living in a way that actually feels good-not just "good enough." My approach is trauma-informed, compassion-focused, and grounded in somatic and IFS principles. That means we’ll not only talk about what’s going on, but also gently tune into what your body, emotions, and inner parts are holding. I believe that healing happens when we feel safe and connected enough to really listen to ourselves with our whole being. You can expect a space where you don’t have to perform or minimize the parts of you that have felt too much, messy, or confusing. This work is about coming home to yourself. You don’t have to do it alone. If this resonates, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out when you’re ready—we’ll take it from there, together.

I am a client-centered psychologist who works with adults and adolescents (13+). I believe therapy should involve the whole person - including our internal, social, societal, spiritual, and physical selves. I invite clients to be collaborators in finding and exploring what will help them achieve growth. I provide a warm, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment and believe a strong client-therapist relationship is essential for growth and change. I integrate aspects of multiple therapeutic modalities, including behavioral approaches (CBT, DBT, behavioral medicine/health psychology), mindfulness-based interventions, humanism, existential, relational and developmental theory, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic-informed care. I help patients/clients address a range of concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use struggles, difficulties in relationships, grief/loss, identifying life goals, navigating life transitions, and balancing work-life demands. I received my training at William James College (Newton, MA). Trained with Advocates Community Counseling, Rutgers University College Counseling, and Boston Behavioral Medicine. I completed a post-doctoral behavioral health fellowship at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and worked there as a staff psychologist until October 2019. As a therapist, I specialize in supporting young adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions, relationships, and challenges. My client-centered approach explores root causes while building practical coping skills for daily life. Using a trauma-informed lens, I integrate yoga-based mindfulness and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and deeper healing. Psychodynamic and narrative therapy help us understand how your worldview was shaped and how it influences your present. We may also incorporate IFS based parts work to gently explore and understand the different parts of your inner experience. With training in the Gottman Method, I help couples strengthen communication, connection, and trust. Together we focus on deepening friendship while managing the practical demands of partnership. You’ll learn tools for healthy conflict resolution and collaboration, remembering you are on the same team. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you feel safe and supported. I understand that beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

The treatment I provide is influenced by relational, attachment-based, and psychodynamic modalities. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity concerns, trauma, and stress related to work and relationships. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds to address their presenting symptoms, as well as explore the underlying roots of these symptoms to establish long-term benefits. I believe therapy is most effective when there is a trusting and open therapeutic relationship, so we will work together to identify a meaningful approach to your care. I’m experienced in working with culturally diverse and LGBTQ populations. Prior to earning my degree in counseling, I worked with LGBTQ youth and young adults in the Boston community at a nonprofit organization dedicated to health education. I understand how difficult it can be to find a good match in therapy, I encourage you to contact me for an initial phone call, and we can discuss how we might work together.

Are you a diamond in the rough? I provide social psychologically informed therapy that looks concentratedly at each client's various emotions in context, how and why emotions arise in relationships and what they have to tell us. I help clients look at their complex feelings related to self, break ups, loss of connection, and unresolved grief or anger, and their positive feelings. I try to help clients persist at these times to discover unrealized strengths, better connections. I work with a sense of humor, realism and practicality. I hope my clients can feel secure and increasingly present, and make smarter, more conscious choices. I am a Licensed Psychologist. My education consists of a B.A. from Brown University, an M.L.A. in Social Psychology from Harvard University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.

I believe that therapy can be a space to feel understood and challenged, find relief, reflect, and grow—in yourself, your relationships, and your world. And I believe that making the decision to seek therapy is an honest and brave one. ABOUT THERAPY WITH ME I am so glad you’ve landed here and I hope to support you on this path. I welcome college students, graduate students, and young adults of all identities for both short- and long-term therapy. These unique and complex life stages are times of significant development, change, and often uncertainty. I offer therapy that is tailored to your specific needs. I attend to immediate concerns and make space for greater understanding of your identities, sense of self, relationships, exposures to trauma and oppression, and early experiences. Above all, I think of therapy as a relationship and a collaboration: Together, we recognize where you struggle and where you shine, understand what you seek, develop awareness, access feelings, and explore new ways of relating and connecting. Patients find that I am active in our work together, and that I blend exploration of emotions and insights with warmth, curiosity, and humor. I currently offer weekday morning and early afternoon appointments online. I expect to offer in-person in Cambridge, MA later in 2025. ABOUT ME I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University and a Master in City Planning from MIT. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School and my post-doctoral fellowship at Boston College University Counseling Services. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International. I work in both English and Spanish. I'm a white, cisgender woman of Greek, Eastern European, and English descent, and I think about the kinds of power I do and don't hold in different spaces. I also think about how the intersecting layers of our identities, and of our personal and ancestral histories, are inextricably linked to who we are and what we bring to therapy. To all my work, I bring an understanding of my own identities and histories, and a deep respect for the transformative power of vulnerability, interdependency, and movements for racial, economic, and social justice.

You’re never enough. Or at least that’s how it feels. Maybe it's how much you make, how much you do, or how hard you work. Maybe it's someone else telling you that. Maybe it's your own inner voice. In any case, you're suffering—either because you're doing everything you can, or you're struggling to do anything at all. And in both cases, you feel like a failure. If this sounds like you, you're not alone. I will help you turn the suffering into struggling. Both are inevitable in this life, but struggling leads to growth and, ultimately, forward momentum. I have considerable experience with AD/HD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance use. I'm comfortable working with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, and I also bring to my work a strong understanding of issues related to race, ethnicity, and LGBT+ identities. Therapy should pay more attention to strengths than deficits. If life is an uphill battle, then we'll acknowledge your effort of trudging up that hill. I see therapy as two experts working together. If I'm an expert in mental health, you're the expert in your own life.

I provide a safe and affirming space for adults who are looking to deepen their self-understanding, practice self-compassion, process emotions, and connect with various parts of themselves. I can support you through processing complex emotions, connect with those emotions in your body, and help you increase your sense of self-trust. I enjoy working with folks from the LGBTQIA+ community and with anyone who has experienced feeling like they "don't belong."
