College students are my favorite population to work with. It is a pivotal time self-discovery, life transitions and making sense of yourself and the world...it's a time of life worthy of additional support along the way! I am passionate about empowering you in the challenges you face, providing you tools to last a lifetime, helping you find purpose + meaning, and evolving into the greatest version of yourself. I fundamentally work to foster a healing relationship with you by creating a space of safety and unconditional acceptance in the hope you undertake a personal journey of growth. I not only help you fix what is wrong but build what is right. I observe the dignity and strength in each person regardless of who they are or their behaviors. Once trust is established, I will encourage you to take risks, and ultimately, to create necessary change. I entered this field to authentically listen to your unique story and to help you live in an integrated, healthy way. I find great meaning in walking alongside clients to challenge and encourage them in their road to emotional, mental, physical and spiritual healing. Dr. Emily Rademan
Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.

KHB Counseling
My expertise lies in working with young adults, ranging in age from late teens to 20’s and 30’s. Through years of experience working in counseling centers at colleges and universities and with clients in this age range, I understand the unique challenges life can pose for young adults and will help you strive towards greater satisfaction with yourself, in your life and in your relationships. I view the relationship between therapist and client as a partnership. We will work together to get you where you want to be. I work with a variety of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, sexual orientation and identity, self-esteem, substance abuse and life transitions. I am currently offering teletherapy sessions and I am accepting new clients. I practice Gestalt therapy in a warm and supportive environment, where I will help you gain insight into past patterns of behavior that are no longer useful, help you uncover barriers that are holding you back, develop new ways of coping, and build on existing strengths. Feel free to reach out with any questions about me or my approach!

Anxiety!, Stress!, pressure to conform and hide who you are can be so exhausting. Whether you are neurodivergent, autistic, queer, gender expansive, or experience multiple intersections of being marginalized, the last thing you need is to be told how to conform to systems of oppression that don’t value you. If you are longing to really be known and celebrated for who you are, let’s talk and work together so you have the nourishing environment in therapy where you can experience the healing and growth you desire to have a vibrant life.

Cristina Chipriano, LCSW-S
I am a proud first gen, Salvadoran American and daughter of immigrants. My goal as a therapist is to assist clients to build a more fulfilling life by fostering an understanding of themselves and the complexity of our human emotion. I understand that it can be intimidating to seek support through life's unexpected challenges. I believe that creating an environment of unconditional support, trust, and understanding is crucial to the therapeutic relationship As a former hospital social worker, my unique experience lends special insight into the needs of individuals experiencing chronic illness and loss. My current and past work experience provides me with skills and knowledge to journey with our clients. I obtained my Bachelor's in Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Human Development and Family Sciences as well as my Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston. I am also fluent in Spanish. I draw from these important educational and work experiences to work with clients who are facing life transition issues, conflict in relationships, and psychosocial adjustment to health issues. My approach is rooted in compassion, mutual respect toward each client, and mindfulness of the dignity of each human person. Everyone's needs and experiences are different. I will work with our clients to find a therapy style works best for that individual.
