As a queer woman who practices polyamory, I can understand how we are often unprepared for the difficulties that arise when living in a mononormative society. It makes sense that emotions like fear or depression are brought up when we go outside of those norms, even for the seasoned consensually nonmonogamous folks. Together we can navigate your polyamorous relationship structure if you or you and your partner(s) find yourselves with insecure attachment styles impacting your relationship(s), are having difficulty managing boundaries, or need help dismantling couple's privilege. You deserve to feel accepted, valued, and back in charge of your own life. With our work individually or as a relationship with your partner(s), you will find that you'll be able to express your emotions clearly to the people in your life, advocate for your needs and wants more effectively, and as a result find yourself feeling less stress. Please reach out to me if any of this resonated with you. You can have a healthy, fulfilling life while practicing polyamory and I am here to help you achieve that. Please email me so we can set up a free phone consultation to talk in more detail about what your wants and needs are.

Hi! My name is Emma and I’m a white, queer, cis femme millennial therapist. I know that’s a lot of descriptors, but social identity is core to my therapy practice. I believe that our social identities, along with our personal histories and relationships, shape our experience of the world. I’m a relational psychotherapist, which means I’m interested in your relationships and how they shape your life. This also means that our therapeutic relationship is the main tool for your growth and healing. When you feel heard and validated, it gives you the foundation to build healthy relationships with yourself and others. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back and scribbles on a notepad. I believe that you’re the expert of your life and I’m here to support you—to hold the map, flashlight, and the bag of snacks. In my pre-therapist former life, I was a teaching artist, workshop facilitator, and nonprofit program coordinator. My academic journey focused on intersectional queer and feminist theory, history, and literature. I’ve also been active in organizing around racial and economic issues in my communities. I’m kink positive, fat positive, and pleasure positive. I affirm poly and queer identities. I believe white supremacy and internalized capitalism dehumanize us, and therapy is a space to name, process, and grieve these impacts. I might be the right therapist for you if: - you have anxiety and/or depression -you identify as LGBTQ or navigating questions around these identities -you struggle in relationships with family, friends, or partners, particularly around boundaries -you have experienced trauma -you navigate challenges around body image and self-esteem I also offer a free video consultation to see if we’re the right fit. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to take the next step!
When many people begin therapy, they don't know where to start. That is totally normal and no one I see needs to have all the answers right now. The people I work with often are going through a tough transition, experiencing stress at school, struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression, or they may have had something really distressing happen to them. Often, they may be noticing patterns of avoidance, procrastination, and self-shaming. Sometimes they're also experiencing stress in their relationships. Whatever is happening, I honor how challenging the process of reaching out for support can be, and I am here to help by working together with those who come to my practice. I specialize in attachment based EMDR therapy, which is incredibly useful for addressing distressing events (in the past or present); chronic stress, severe anxiety, and feeling like you are "stuck" on an issue that just doesn't seem to go away. It can also help resolve old wounds that are impacting current relationships. I'm here to help make the process of beginning therapy easier and help create a sense of safety by collaborating with you to address your needs. I also respect that paying for therapy can be complicated. To help, I offer a service where I can submit billing info to a service that files documentation with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursements. If eligible, you may be able to receive a portion of your money back for therapy, making payment easier. I am also able to check to see if you're eligible for reimbursement. If you are a student in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Florida, the next step is to email or call me today. I look forward to connecting!

Hi, I'm Abby! After working as a therapist at a group practice for a couple of years, I became passionate about building my own practice where I get to work solely with young adults navigating the challenges of coming-of-age. I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of mental health so that I can provide you with the best possible care. A little about me: I attended Saint Joseph's University for undergraduate school and Villanova University for graduate school. I have been living in Philadelphia for over 10 years, and I have over 4 years of experience working with teenagers, college students, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, school stressors, self-esteem, life transitions and more. Whether you're navigating life transitions or managing overwhelming emotions, I am here to empower you with practical tools and insights to thrive in every aspect of your life journey. My goal is to work with you to create meaningful experiences that increase optimism, hope, and motivation along with a sense of control, worth, empowerment, purpose, connectedness, and well-being.
I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in New York and Pennsylvania. I have a dual degree in Social Work and Music and use my knowledge of art and human behavior to shape my practice. I have a holistic, laid-back, and compassionate approach to building relationships. I use talk therapy in combination with mindfulness, body awareness, and creative expression to understand where you are coming from. I hope to foster a non-judgmental space for you to process and understand your inner thoughts and feelings. I believe in collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based approaches to understanding the needs of each individual. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults who are interested in growing their own knowledge and tools to balance life’s stressors. I work best with individuals who are willing to employ insight to enhance their daily lives and achieve their goals. It’s never too late.

Together, we can address: - Managing and easing worry, fears, and anxieties. - Exploring better understanding and coping with low energy and depressed mood. - Relationship dynamics, including familial, romantic, and professional. - Navigating life transitions and the nuance of finding comfort in your new normal. - Uncovering pathways to personal development, through identity exploration, boundary-setting, existential questions, and processing trauma. With each individual's desires being unique, my role is to support you through the challenges and celebrations of life while ensuring that every step you take is moving you towards a life that truly aligns with what you value most. Our collaborative work will empower you, connecting you with your internal strengths and innate healing abilities, to realize your vision with confidence and clarity. Central to our sessions are effective modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), enriched by holistic philosophies. For those interested, I weave in breathwork, mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, and gentle movement, providing a comprehensive toolkit for healing and wellness. I am a lover of liminal spaces. To me, the liminal, the “in-between”, is a space of great possibility. It lies at the edge of certainty and uncertainty. It beckons us to drop what we think we know and be with what is actually present. My identities and life experiences give me a sense of being “in-between.” I’m a gender fluid, Puerto Rican person who grew up in the diaspora. I grew up in a military family and spent my childhood moving from place to place. As an adult, I continued to move, spending years living and working in the Pacific Islands and Latin America. I explore liminal spaces in my exploration of fiber art, as well as in my music. I love to create new combinations of seemingly opposing elements, whether that is an innovative way of weaving or creating a folksy version of a salsa song. As a therapist, my “in-between” experiences reinforce my belief that when we can stay present in the place of flux, of uncertainty, then change and transformation is possible. I have spent over 8 years providing somatic, present-moment focused, and intuitive psychotherapy to survivors of sexual violence, sexual abuse and individuals experiencing grief. I combine extensive training in Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems, psychedelic-assisted therapy and mindfulness-based interventions to aid clients in creating lives they love. My activism and commitment to social justice come to bear in years of experience in community mental health. I believe that personal healing is bound in collective healing, that we are all threads in the larger tapestry of life. Through my practice, I aim to empower individuals to invest in their wholeness, health, and joy, recognizing that we are all the medicine we need.
At Restore relationships we strive to teach the inner connections of life. Much like fungi, humans root themselves through branching off and building new, thriving, fulfilling relationships and connections. How we manage and love in these relationships has a lot to do with how we grew up. Our childhood experiences, traumatic events, and connections with others influence more of our independent being than understood. That’s where our job comes in, helping our clients understand the connections that made a footprint on their beings. By redefining, uncovering, and learning about the relationships in our lives, we begin to shift focus on the most important relationship, the one with ourselves. Restore offers multiple forms of relationship therapy with a depth focus on the family. Therapy is offered by a trained professional specifically educated in marriage and family therapy. Understanding relationships are our most precious gift, it is imperative proper navigation in these relationships is taught. About the owner: Hannah graduated in May of 2019 from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) after completing 500 clinical hours. Hannah then served in community mental health as a mobile crisis stabilization therapist providing home/school-based sessions for families in the Northeast. Hannah transitioned into a private group practice in 2021 focusing on couples, individuals, and families. Hannah completed her licensure requirements and received her license in November 2021. Recently Hannah has opened her own practice and is extending hours to accept new clients! A message from Hannah: "Hello, my fellow warriors! I am not your average therapist, I am an unfiltered therapist discussing, supporting, and rallying for all challenges, transitions, and celebrations we undergo in this life! Please join me as we experience the power of the therapeutic relationship while discovering hidden generational patterns, identities, and a whole list of potential possibilities! I look forward to witnessing this journey with you!"
As solution-focused therapists, our goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Talking with a mental health professional can help alleviate emotional distress and assist with finding solutions to your problems so that you can find your inner balance. If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Going to college may feel like it is supposed to be one of the most exciting times in your life. Leaving home, starting an independent life and creating connections with people from all over the world sounds great, right? But, it is also one of the more challenging times in life from a developmental stance. Family relations feel different, making friends can be challenging in a larger setting, academics are rigorous and there is a struggle to know who you 'really are.' On top of that, differences between you and others on identity dimensions can have you re-examining where you fit into the larger world around you. I am here to help guide you through this time so that you can work through unpleasant feelings while simultaneously feeling more confident in the person you are becoming and wish to be.
My clients are dedicated athletes grappling with eating disorders or OCD, facing the dual challenges of their mental health and a desire to perform at their peak. They are often overwhelmed by the demands of their sport, which can blur the lines between passion and harmful habits. Their primary goal is to reclaim their lives and their love for their sport, seeking not just recovery, but transformation—an opportunity to realign their beliefs and values towards a healthier, more balanced existence. They crave empowerment, resilience, and the ability to thrive both in their athletic pursuits and personal lives.
