I love working with students who are struggling with adhd, their identity, the transition into adulthood, and the very real anxiety that comes from that! I've worked with clients who've suffered from trauma, mental health disorders, and lack of social acceptance. I love being a safe place were you can share what's impacting you and find acceptance, support, tools to help you take control of your life, and gain confidence in moving forward with your plans and dreams
College can feel like a never-ending marathon of stress, anxiety, self-doubt and no one hands you an instruction manual on how to cope. I’m Ashley, a therapist who specializes in helping students overcome academic burnout, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, and the constant pressure to “have it all together.” If your brain is always racing, your motivation has disappeared, or you’re tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re absolutely not, you’re exactly who I help every day. My sessions are a safe space to be honest, process what’s weighing you down, and learn real strategies to manage your mental health and feel more like yourself. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or boring, it can be empowering, validating, and even a little bit fun. Reach out today, so you can start feeling less stressed and more in control. My approach: It’s all about meeting you where you’re at and helping you find some breathing room in the chaos. We’re not here to fix everything overnight, but to give you the tools to navigate life with more ease, more control, and more clarity. We’ll dive into the tough stuff whether it’s ADHD, trauma, anxiety, relationships, intimacy, or addiction and work through it together, at your pace. My goal is to help you connect with yourself, your emotions, and your relationships in a way that’s empowering, freeing, and totally real. No judgment. Just you, your process, and a plan to get you to where you want to be. I’m here to help you sort through the noise and rediscover the parts of you that bring you peace and fulfillment. So, what can you expect to take away from sessions with me: First off, you’ll get a safe, judgment free space to work through whatever’s on your mind. Whether you’re dealing with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, relationships, or anything else, we’ll tackle it together, at your pace. Expect practical tools and strategies that actually work in the real world, not just in theory. You’ll learn how to manage overwhelm, reconnect with yourself, and feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and life overall. But here’s the thing it's not just about checking off a to-do list. It’s about growth, healing, and building a stronger connection with who you are. I bring years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, people dealing with trauma, and those navigating complex relationship dynamics. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, break through the blocks holding you back, and get to a place where you can live with more peace and fulfillment. Together, we’ll work on a plan that’s unique to you because you deserve an approach that honors your journey and your individuality. Reach out today on my website for an initial 15 minuet phone consultation.

I believe that we each possess a great deal of wisdom that offers guidance in simple (though not necessarily easy) ways for us to embody. Therapy can offer time and space to be heard, seen, and supported exactly as you are, so that you may find a way to move towards where you would like to go. Whatever brings you to therapy, my intention is to hold an open, curious and safe space for you to connect more deeply with your experience and for us to collaborate in finding ways to support you. Some of my areas of interest and experience include: life transitions, anxiety and depression, grief, relationship challenges, self-doubt/"inner critic" and perfectionism, searching for life goals and directions, personal growth. I was trained in Somatic Psychotherapy and also have a background in bodywork, approaching therapy from a holistic lens that welcomes the whole person.
"What am I doing with my life?" "What do I want?" "Why do I feel the way I do?" "When will the time come that I feel how I want to feel?" "How do I get there?" These questions and many more like them can really come up as we enter into and move through our young adult years. And they can feel quite overwhelming, especially when we feel we are asking them alone. I partner with young adults to tackle these questions together. I am enthusiastic, I feel deeply, and I believe in the power of humor - these are core to who I am as a person and core to who I am as a therapist. My approach is very interactive; I bring my full self into the room, and invite clients to do the same as we work together to get them to the way of being they are seeking. I am passionate about working with young adult At the beginning of working with someone new, emphasis in placed on getting clear about what it is they are seeking and then collaborating with them to decide the pace and direction we go. Feel free to learn more about me and my work at www.adamcohenmft.com and contact me with any questions or to schedule a complimentary phone consultation to explore working together.
Hi, I’m Zirley Macias, LCSW, a bilingual (English | Spanish) therapist who meets with California college students via secure tele-health. For nearly a decade I’ve helped undergrads and grad students untangle test anxiety, academic stress, low mood, social or roommate conflicts, and the identity questions that come with campus life. Sessions feel like a friendly, judgment-free zone that doubles as a launchpad for growth: we blend evidence-based tools—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused, and strength-based techniques—and, if you wish, faith-informed perspectives. You’ll leave each meeting with a bite-sized practice exercise you can fit between classes and study sessions, turning insight into daily habits. Whether you’re adjusting to dorm life, juggling coursework and part-time work, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you find realistic solutions, stronger boundaries, and a sustainable sense of hope.

What is an Authentic Life Path? The question should really be What is YOUR Authentic Life Path? Often in the hustle and bustle of the “real world” we kind of just go with the flow and often lose ourselves. Sometimes it is scary to live our lives authentically. Living authentically means the person you feel you truly are on the inside. I started my career in the IT field, but realized I did not have a passion for it or enjoy it. I wanted to help others. I became a licensed marriage and family therapist, and am now living my authentic life path and want to help you find and live yours. I specialize in working with children, tweens, teens and adults who identify as transgender or genderqueer. I also specialize in the LGBTQIAA+ community. I work with all religions and spiritualities and all types of families no matter what the unique makeup. I provide a safe, supportive environment for you to explore yourself and grow into your most authentic self and find the path that is right for you. Give me a call or email if you have any questions.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin? You’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Welcome to The Center of Resiliency. My name is Laura, and I’m honored you’re here. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale. I work with individuals ages 16 and up who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Many people I support are navigating anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, life transitions, or relationship challenges. I also work with couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, or feel more connected in their relationship. In addition, I have a special passion for supporting parents of children with special needs and understand how emotionally and physically demanding that role can be. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. In our work together, you can expect a warm, honest, and collaborative approach. Therapy with me is not about being “fixed,” but about helping you better understand yourself, build healthier patterns, and develop tools that fit your real life. We will move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. My goal is for therapy to feel like a partnership where you feel empowered, not judged. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at National University, with training in both individual and relationship-focused therapy. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, listening to music, and getting lost in a good book. My own life experiences have shaped my belief that healing happens through genuine connection, compassion, and feeling truly seen. If you’re considering therapy, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Deciding to engage in therapy is an important step in one’s life and I am honored by the opportunity to join in this journey with you. My work with clients begins from a place of genuine curiosity and authenticity. As a relational-cultural narrative therapist I believe that the person is not the problem. The problem is the problem and we work together to develop and implement effective tools aimed to address the problem. People are also defined by stories. When these stories become problematic, people can become stuck. Together we will examine these stories and help you develop new and healthy stories for your life. At the Heart is a community counseling center whose goal is to bridge the gap that exists in access to services and to help heal our community, families, and individuals. We have a Peer or Lay Counseling Division which is an every day person that is passionate and has a heart for helping others, life experience, and has completed a 13 week (40 hour) counseling course through At the Heart. The course addresses depression, trauma, anxiety, suicidality, grief/loss, child abuse, domestic violence, addiction, and mindfulness. These providers could be nurses, teachers, stay at home parents, retirees, and so on. They have an open heart and a willingness to listen and encourage. We have a Professional Division which involves Trainees, Associates/Interns, and Pastors. Trainees are Graduate/Doctoral school students in the field of counseling that need to acquire hours towards graduation and licensure. Associate and Interns are Post-Masters/Doctoral Graduates that are accruing hours towards licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Professional Clinical Counseling. You don't want to be a burden on others, so you keep it all inside, even when you're overwhelmed. Everyone thinks you're fine, but there's part of your story you never say aloud and it feels like you're about to snap. You know you have so much privilege, but what are you supposed to DO with it except feel immobilized by shame? As a bookworm and psychotherapist, I know the power of stories, especially the ones we didn't choose: family secrets, relationship and sexual difficulties, alcohol use, faith transition and deconstruction, burnout in passion jobs, people-pleasing, anxiety, financial wealth, and privileged identities. You want to learn to speak up without it costing you everyone you love. You want to learn how to give without shame or fear of being found out that you have SO MUCH. You want to create in a world that wants you to monetize everything. I get it, and I've been there. Your story won't be the same as mine, but I've helped clients like you make changes that last. I can help you find more peace in your relationships and write your future story.
